This guide will help you transfer U.S. stocks from another brokerage account into your BIT securities account.
The process consists of three main stages:
Submit a stock transfer-in request in the BIT App
Initiate a stock transfer-out with your original broker
Once completed, the stocks will be transferred to your BIT account.
Step 1: Submit a Stock Transfer-In Request in the BIT App
First, you need to initiate a stock transfer-in request within the BIT App.
Navigation Path
Open the BIT App > Tap the bottom menu > Stocks > Portfolio > More > Share Transfer-In > U.S. Market
Fill in Transfer Details
Select the broker (the broker currently holding your stocks)
In the “broker” section:
If the broker appears in the dropdown list, select it directly
If the broker is not listed, select “Other Securities Firm” and manually enter the broker information
The required information includes::
Delivering broker
Participant number
Contact person
Phone number (optional)
Email

The above information refers to the outgoing broker details
This information can be found in the broker’s app, official website, or help center
Or obtain it by contacting the broker’s customer service
Fill in the outgoing broker information (e.g., broker name, account details)
Add stock information to be transferred:
Stock name/code
Quantity
Currently, only U.S. stocks are supported for transfer-in
Cost Basis (Optional)
If not provided: the system will use the closing price on the transfer date as the cost basis
If provided: the entered cost basis will be displayed after the transfer
The cost basis cannot be modified after submission. Please contact customer support if needed
Submit Application
After confirming all information is correct:
Click “Next”
Submit the application
After submission, a confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address.
The email contains important information required for the stock transfer.
Step 2: Initiate Stock Transfer-Out with Your Original Broker
Initiate a “stock transfer-out” request with your current broker to transfer stocks to BIT.
Different brokers may have slightly different processes, but the overall logic is similar:
General Process
Some brokers do not support self-service transfers in their apps. You may need to contact customer service or submit a transfer form. Please follow your broker’s specific requirements.
Typical steps include:
Log in to your broker’s app/web platform or visit the official website
Look for “Stock Transfer Out / Transfer to Another Broker”
Search via help center or contact customer support
Provide the following information as instructed by your broker:
Scenario 1: Transfer from IBKR to BIT
BIT broker information and your BIT account details:

Account number at the broker: MATRIXOMNI30
Contact person: Settlement Department

Settlement ID: None
Settlement Date: To be selected by the user. After selection, please notify BIT customer support
Account Name: Must match your BIT account name and IBKR account name
Scenario 2: Transfer from Other Brokers to BIT
BIT broker information and your BIT account details:
Broker name: Matrix Gelephu Pte Ltd
DTC (Participant number): DTC#4305
Contact person: Settlement Department

Email: [email protected]
Account Number: Your BIT securities account number
Account Name: Must match the name on the transferring-out account
Complete the confirmation process required by your broker, such as:
Email confirmation
Downloading, signing, and returning forms
Manual verification by customer service
Important Notes
The transferring-out broker may charge transfer fees
Some brokers require signed transfer forms
Stocks cannot be traded during the transfer period
When the original broker completes the review and processing, the stock transfer will begin.
Wait for Transfer Completion
After approval, stocks usually arrive in BIT within 1–5 trading days
Actual timing depends on market conditions and broker processing speed
Once the transfer is complete, the stocks will appear in your BIT securities account.
