HK Stock Transfer In Guide

01 Submit a Transfer In Request in BIT

Path: 「Stocks」→「Portfolio」→「More」→「Share Transfer-In」→「HK Market」

Step 1: Enter the Delivering broker details

  • Select your original broker from the "Delivering broker" dropdown. If it is not listed, select the option for other brokers and enter the broker details.

  • Select your account name and enter your account number with that broker.

  • The name must match your BIT securities account name.

Step 2: Enter the stock details and tap "Next"

  • Enter the stock name or code and quantity. Cost per share is optional.

  • To transfer more stocks, tap "Add more".

Step 3: Review details & submit your request

  • Check the broker and stock details, then tap "Next".

  • Check your registered BIT email for transfer instructions.

  • To copy the receiving broker details, open "Matrix Gelephu Pte Ltd Account Information" on the transfer-in home page and select "HK".

When submitting the transfer-out request to your original broker, enter the receiving broker details above, along with your BIT securities account number and account name.

02 Request a Transfer Out from Your Original Broker

1. Submit a transfer-out request to your original broker

  • Transfer procedures vary by broker. Follow your original broker's requirements.

  • Some brokers require you to log in to their app or website and submit a stock transfer-out or account transfer request.

  • Others may require you to contact customer support or submit a transfer request form.

  • The stocks will begin transferring after your original broker completes its review and processing.

2. Return to BIT and confirm you have notified the broker

After submitting the transfer-out request, return to the "Contact" screen in BIT and tap the confirmation button to notify BIT.

03 Wait for the Transfer Result

1. Wait for broker confirmation

  • Once both brokers confirm, stocks are usually credited within 3–5 business days.

  • Actual timing depends on broker processing.

2. Check progress and the transfer result

  • Open your transfer-in record to check progress.

  • Once complete, the stocks will appear in your BIT securities account.
