Accumulator (AQ) & Decumulator (DQ)

BIT provides access to two solutions—AQ and DQ—designed with predefined accumulation and selling mechanisms, which may assist users in managing exposure during volatile market conditions.

1.Accumulator (AQ) — “Accumulating at a Discount”

1)User profile

Investors who are bullish on the mid- to long-term value of BTC/ETH and wish to take advantage of pullbacks to accumulate positions gradually and lower their average entry cost.

2)How it works

  • Over the agreed tenor, investors have the opportunity to accumulate BTC/ETH at a strike price below the current market level, with purchases occurring in batches.

  • If the market rises quickly and hits the knock-out level, the product terminates early and the accumulated portion is locked in with realized gains.

The Accumulator allows you to gradually accumulate BTC below the current market price within your preset price range - enabling you to buy BTC at a discount. It’s designed for medium-to-long-term investors who are bullish on BTC or ETH.

Example:

Assume the current BTC market price is $63,520, and you participate in an Accumulator plan with the following parameters:

  • Investment amount: 10W USDT

  • Strike price (buy-in price): $55,859 (approximately 88% of the current market price)

  • Knock-out price: $69,872

  • Tenor: 48 weeks

Scenario 1: If BTC’s spot price exceeds $69,872 during the 48-week period

➡️The “knock-out” is triggered, and the plan terminates early. The accumulated BTC and remaining USDT are both returned.

Scenario 2: If BTC’s spot price fluctuates between $55,859 and $69,872

➡️ BTC is purchased daily at $55,859effectively accumulating BTC at a discount.

Scenario 3: If BTC’s spot price falls below $55,859

➡️BTC continues to be purchased at $55,859

2.Decumulator (DQ) — “Selling at a Premium”

1)User profile

Investors already holding BTC/ETH who wish to lock in gains by selling gradually during market rebounds.

2)How it works

  • With a Decumulator, as long as the price stays above the knock-out level, investors can sell portions of their BTC/ETH holdings in batches during price increases, effectively achieving an automated take-profit mechanism.

  • If the price falls below the knock-out level during the tenor, the product terminates, and the investor retains the USDT proceeds from prior sales.
